The first week of school was a whirlwind of activities! Classrooms were circled up getting to know each other. We shared books together and wrote about our goals for the year. We saw old friends and made new ones. We spent time building community as teachers started to assess students' skills. It was a fun way to kick off a year of learning!

We are transitioning to Parent Square for all communication. You can download the app to receive regular updates and direct message with teachers. This video has additional information. If you are having trouble accessing the app, please call the office to be sure have your correct email and phone number.

This week, we will be transitioning to a new system to check students in and out. If you arrive after 7:45, you will need to walk your child to the office and check them in using your id.

Our PTO will meet on August 25th at 6:00 in the media center to welcome our newest PTO members and anyone interested in joining. We would love to have you here to help us plan for the year! PTO is hosting the first Bingo Night of the school year on August 29th from 6:00-8:00. This event is open to anyone in the community. Tacos Al Vaquero will be on site if you want dinner.
