West Oxford Owl for October 31, 2025

Title I Night was Tuesday evening and we had an incredible series of performers along side curriculum and cultural presentations. We had the band from Northern Granville, showcasing many former WOX Owls. JF Webb brought dancers who showed off traditional Latin dances. Several of our fourth graders sang and danced to We Are the World. Several teachers performed traditional Columbian dances, and our ESL teacher, Mr. Owen, and his band, Latin Trois, closed out the evenings festivities.

There is a teacher workday November 4, so there is no school for students.

Our PTO meets on November 5th at 6:00 in the media center to finalize details for Fall Festival. Please join us!

Our Fall Festival is November 7th! Mark your calendars! We are looking for donations of homemade cakes for the silent auction, store bought treats for the cake walk, and small prizes for bingo. We would love volunteers to work that night. Please reach out to Ashley Hart, PTO president at westoxfordelempto@gmail.com. Fall Festival tickets are on sale in the office. Ten dollars buys a punch card and dinner!

November 11th is a holiday. There is no school.

Every student has a reading log. Please make sure that you are reading and documenting what you read every night!
