West Oxford Owl for November 21

November is always a choppy month, but we have made the most of our only full week of school this month. Students are writing plays, solving multistep word problems, researching animals, and working on basic conversational skills in Spanish. We have seen many volunteers this week as the Reading Buddy program started back. We are particularly thankful for volunteers who worked on two special projects, building us a gaga ball pit on the playground and a nine square frame behind D building. We anticipate many hours of fun on this equipment! The sounds of singing and dancing fill the gym every morning as our students enthusiastically prepare for the upcoming Winter Program on December 16th!

Thanksgiving Break is November 26-28th. There is no school for students those three days.

Please make sure your child's bus badge is attached to their bookbag so they can sign in on their bus!

We are so thankful for each and every one of our students and families. You are a critical part of our school community, and we are better because you are here.
