We are celebrating student accomplishments this week! We are excited to recognize Ja’Tavian Cheek who won the district holiday card contest for all third through fifth graders in Granville County Schools! He is a great artist, and we are proud of him!

Ms. Malia, Mr. Jazraun, and Mr. Karson earned the opportunity to be principals for the day today. They helped me make plans, write thank you cards, and prepare for a special event.

Many of you showed up for our first iMom's breakfast of the year. We heard Ms. Oakley speak about the burdens so many people carry and the importance of prioritizing and taking care of yourself so you can you care for others. I hope each of you found it helpful.

This week Ms. Riley met with our to students to share about the work ACIM does in the community. She is a real world changer, and we can be too! Please join us in donating canned foods and non perishable items to our school until the 11th. Thanks to all of you who have already donated! Our students will deliver these items to the ACIM food bank on December 12th. We know that groceries are expensive and understand that not all families can donate. We will make sure all students have food to carry to ACIM.

Mark your calendar for these upcoming events!
  • Our PTO meets on December 9th at 6:00.
  • The holiday concert is Tuesday, December 16th from 6:00-7:00. Please join us!

The weather is chilly, but unless it is raining or freezing, we will have recess outside. Please make sure your students are dressed for the weather. We encourage you to write their name in their coats so if it goes missing, we can return it to you.

See you Monday!
