What a week! We had an absolute blast celebrating West Oxford Elementary’s big 50th birthday! Big thanks to everyone who voted to name our new mascot—say hello to Woxy! The dress-up days were a total hit, and reading through all your nostalgic memories of West Oxford brought the biggest smiles to our faces.
We also loved honoring all of our wonderful grandparents this week! Getting to meet so many family members in person was such a highlight, and our Pre-K and Kindergarten kiddos were so proud to put on a special performance for you.
To top it all off, we celebrated Constitution Day on Thursday! Our students had some great discussions about why laws matter and how our country’s Constitution was created.
Candyman fundraiser envelopes came home last week. Paper orders are due by September 24, and online orders by September 27th.

Food and drink may not be delivered to school by an outside vendor or by a student's parent(s), guardian, relative, or friend due to federal rules. Any food items provided for a planned class celebration should be commercially prepared and individually wrapped (when possible) and meet Smart Snack guidelines. If you would like the class to celebrate your child's birthday, please send individually wrapped treats to send home.
